PLC Migration

Programmable Control Systems have been evolving rapidly in the last 30 years. PLC Manufacturers have made major changes and upgrades to their equipment. Managers and Plant Engineers have found that it has become increasing difficult and expensive for their staff to maintain and support these legacy PLC systems.

Our engineers are familiar with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Texas Instruments, GE, Toshiba and other manufacturers.

PLC's that were installed in the 80's and early 90's are reaching the end of their life cycle and it is time to upgrade them.

On PLC Migration projects of this nature, AAPL will work with you to upgrade the original schematics, convert the ladder logic to the new platform and fully test the control system once installed.

The amount of downtime required can vary, and we can schedule the migration to have minimal impact on your plant. We can arrange for after hours, weekend, or scheduled maintenance downtime as well.
